By tram or by bus
The public transport network has sufficient capacity to bring all visitors safely to and from the Proximus Pop-Up Arena. The coastal tram connects all coastal towns with Middelkerke at a relatively high frequency during the summer. In addition, two bus lines provide extra capacity on the Ostend-Nieuport-Coxyde-Furnes route. These bus lines also have a stop at the Ostend train station, the most important final destination for train travellers to the coast and a fast connection with Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, Charleroi and so on.
The coastal tram Kusttram runs every 10 minutes on weekdays in the summer. On weekdays after 8 p.m., the tram only runs every 30 minutes.
To reach the Proximus Pop-Up Arena, get off at the Middelkerke Verhaeghelaan stop. This is a seven minute walk from the Proximus Pop-up Arena. You can also get off at the Westende-Bad Krokodiel stop. This is a twelve minute walk.
Middelkerke also has an on-call bus. To request it, call 059 56 52 56 at least two hours before departure.
See the website of De Lijn for timetables and stops.
